A one-of-a-kind accent crafted from 100% reclaimed cedarwood — hand-sawed, sanded, and finished in the Pacific Northwest from fallen cedar trees. Every finishing element is done completely by hand with great care.
Left raw with no sealing, each piece varies slightly in colour, texture, and grain — and will develop a richer character over time. No two stumps are the same. Use as a side table, a pedestal for objects, or simply as a sculptural accent in any room.

- Colour will deepen and mellow naturally over time
- Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight
- Keep away from excessive moisture
- Natural cracking and checking is normal and adds to the character of the piece
- A light application of wood conditioner can be used to nourish the wood annually

The Hornby Cedar Stump begins as a fallen tree. Craftsmen in the Pacific Northwest hand-saw and sand each piece, stripping away nothing but the bark — leaving behind the full character of the wood: its grain, its natural cracking, its warm, pale hue.
No stain, no seal, no gloss. The finish is the wood itself. Over time it will deepen in colour, age gracefully, and tell the story of where it came from. It is the kind of object that gets more interesting the longer it lives in a room.
